2 cups raisins
2 cups warm water
2 Tbs. active yeast
2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup bran
2 cups unbleached white flour
3 cups whole wheat flour

Simmer raisins and 2 cups water for 5 minutes. Drain off water and add enough water to make 2 cups.
Dissolve yeast in warm liquid; add oil, honey, salt and bran with 2 cups whole wheat flour. Beat for a couple minutes, then
addRETR 581516 the rest of the flour.
Mix and knead until smooth and elastic. Put in greased bowl and let rise in warm place until double. Shape into 2 loaves or
drop into muffin tins.
Let rise for 30-40 minutes, then bake at 350 degrees.
